Moody Lightness

Maybe it’s just me, but I definitely gravitate toward a lighter, airier design aesthetic that allows me to feel weightless and happy. But with that said, I also love super dark wood floors that provide contrast to starkly crisp white walls and sheer white curtains. Merge these two ideas, sensations, and aesthetics together, and you have my style summed up in two words – moody lightness.

This studio apartment in Cophenhagen, which was covered by Domaine Home, caught my eye as the perfect balance between a darker aesthetic and a lighter, airier feel.
