I suppose it may be because I’m in a very committed relationship with my cow hide rug that I don’t typically gravitate toward other animal prints. Of course, I love the occasional leopard handbag or flat, but I had never thought of introducing a zebra-printed pillows in my house until I dug deep on Domaine Home. When placed correctly – that is to say, when it’s not an overwhelming amount of pattern – animal print can add vibrancy and interest to a space. A pop of zebra print on bar stools, for instance, is a great way to introduce pattern to your otherwise monotone kitchen. Just be sure to not go overboard, as no one finds comfort in a leopard rug, with corresponding leopard wallpaper and additional leopard bedding!
