The other day, I walked over to my co-worker’s desk to research something with her. As she opened up a new window in her browser, a stunning photograph with her name on it popped up. For a second, I completely forgot about what we were researching because I needed to know everything about this browser setting.
Lucky for you, I got all of the details and can now pass them along!
This setting is a Google Chrome plug-in called Momentum. What this means is you’ll need to use Chrome if you don’t already (but let’s be real, why aren’t you using Chrome?) and that you’ll need to click this link to install the plug-in.
Once it’s installed, you can customize it to your liking. For instance, it can include an area for you to write a to-do list, an inspirational quote, the weather, and other things. Amazing, right?
What’s more amazing? It prompts you to enter your focus each day, so it gets me thinking about what I want to get done and what I want to be reminded about each time I open a new window. For me, I love having that constant reminder, and to make things interesting, I’ll often write an inspirational line for my focus such as, “Get it done!” or “Crush it!”
So what, do you think? Are you convinced?
