It feels like just yesterday that I was getting my apartment ready for Summer, but somehow it’s already time to move onto Fall. There’s something about the Fall season that has a really restorative effect for me–the shorter days and warmer colors make me want to spend more time at home doing nothing but relaxing.
And, as I’m sure you expected, me staying home and relaxing basically means rearranging everything in sight and preparing for the season at hand. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Spiced up my living room with some candy corns and bright orange tulips.
Swapped out my dish and hand soaps for something a bit more festive.
Draped my warmest throw blankets over the living room couch and chairs.
Busted out my favorite white knits.
Stocked the house with pumpkin-flavored everything.
