Admittedly, these days have been a bit on the quieter side as I really try to slow down and catch up on sleep. And as much as I love sharing photos of my place of sleep, I thought it would be a little bit more fun and festive to make this These Days post dedicated to my recent trip to Miami. That means it will be a bit longer than my usual These Days, but I think you’ll forgive a few more palm tree and beachy pics, right? That’s what I thought!
While I was only in Miami for a couple days on a work trip, I managed to squeeze in a little bit of exploring and a lot of eating. Below are my favorite snapshots from my time there.
The view from my hotel room was simply breathtaking.
Plus, it had the most beautiful and quick walkway straight to the beach.
Putting my feet in the 70-degree water was spectacular.
Turned the Soho House into my office for the day and was pretty pleased.
Wynwood was definitely a must-see—what an amazing artist community.
I have no words for the concoction that I made at Kith Treats.
Brunch at Juvia did not disappoint. Neither did dinner at Prime 112 and Zuma, which may be made clear by the fact that I was too consumed by the food to even snap a pic.
A Saturday afternoon at Harley Farms was just the retreat I needed.
Found heaven in Healdsburg at SHED.
Just minding my own business and taking pictures of homes in Healdsburg—can you blame me?
A weekend in Hayes Valley would not be complete without a trip to Clare V.
…or frozen Greek yogurt from Souvla.
Nothing better than a sunny morning in SF (and this porch isn’t bad either).
If you ever find yourself without an agenda in the Bay, head to Mill Valley.
You’ll find houses like this to ooh and aah over.
Headed home to LA for the holiday week and loved every second of it.
So into the brick + white wood fence + layered plants in my sister’s patio.
Basking in the beauty and deliciousness that is Felix Trattoria.
Pops of red on my nightstand currently.
Sometimes all you need is a road trip to Tomales Bay on a weekend.
…And a visit to your friend’s amazing ranch. Just look at this epic tree house!
Completely head over heels for my new pendant—more on that soon!
The next batch of these days will look a whole lot sunnier because I’m headed to Europe on a cruise! I’ll be taking a break from the blog so I can really unplug, and can’t wait to update you on all of my travels when I’m back here on June 14th!
A sunny day in two of my favorite San Francisco neighborhoods: Pacific Heights and the Marina.
Lyon Street Steps: Climb up to the top for an incredible view of the Bay.
March: Absolutely everything in here will have you swooning.
Palace of Fine Arts: On a sunny day, there’s nothing better than sitting on the grass here.
The Bud Stop: Flowers, anyone?
Wrecking Ball Coffee: Not sure what I love more—the coffee or the cute wallpaper.
The views from our hike around Pyramid Lake were picture perfect.
Let me introduce you to my new favorite Mexican spot in Marin, Más Masa.
It could use a little tidying up around the edges but all in all, this denim wall is p-r-e-t-t-y.
My all-time favorite combination: White hydrangeas and eucalyptus.
Esqueleto never fails to deliver on the visual inspiration.
P.S. I’m taking off for Mexico City this weekend (so excited!) and will be off the blog to allow myself to fully enjoy. Can’t wait to see you all back here on March 1st!
