It’s no secret that I love straw accessories, both for the home and the wardrobe. So it should also come as no surprise that I have a lot of them lying around my apartment.
Recently, I’ve been thinking about taking all of my straw accessories and curating them into a beautiful entryway statement, just as these photos show. I love how each of these entryways instantly conjure the feeling of adventure—like you could just grab a hat and hit the beach at a moment’s notice.
What do you think? Is a straw entryway on your #WishList, too?

From blue velvet sofa to pink velour upholstery, my wish list just keeps expanding. Right now, I am absolutely l-o-v-i-n-g the look of dusty pale pink upholstery, especially when paired with darker tones like rich wood floors.
But in case you’re like me and probably can’t commit to an entire sofa cloaked in this fabric, a throw pillow would look just as good!

An acrylic console table first caught my eye a while ago and I haven’t been able to shake it ever since. I just love how it can both blend in as well as make a big, bold statement at the same time.
Thankfully, this piece may not stay on my wish list for much longer—we have the perfect place for it right under the windows in our living room. If and when we do make the purchase, I’ll be sure to update you with photos!

Ok, ok, I’m guilty. I would make updates to my apartment on the daily if I could. What can I say? I just love making little changes and updates here and there!
So it should come as no surprise that I have a few areas/items on my wish list at the moment. Here’s a little breakdown:
Ever since I wrote this post about home bar necessities in which I repurposed the bar cart from my kitchen, I’ve been wanting another one for our living room. I think it would help round out the space, as well as make our home better-equipped for entertaining.
When we first moved in, we had absolutely nothing. First on our list? A bed, of course. Since we were in such a rush to buy a bed so that we could sleep in our own place, I didn’t even think about a rug to go underneath it. But now that we’re much more settled, it’s high up on my list.
My boyfriend is in love with the photograph we have above our dining table, but if it were up to me, we’d have floating shelves topped with pretty pottery and the like.
This chair is actually a newer addition, and while I love it, I think we can ultimately find a better home for it in our living room. In its place, I’d love to find a tall side table that would help create a landing place for mail, keys, etc.
