Wish List: Upholstered Dining Chairs

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an affinity for skirted dining room chairs. I love that they can read both elegant and casual at the same time, depending on how you stage the table.

Since we currently have a round dining room table that seats four, these upholstered chairs would look too busy and cramped–hence why they’re on my wish list for our future home.

Pro tip: Opt for ones without a pleated bottom for a clean and sleek look.

Wish List: Vintage Quilt

As someone who loves nothing more than crisp white bedding (as seen in my bedroom here), I’m actually really liking the look of a vintage quilt. I love the unexpected pop it creates, especially when placed at the foot of the bed.

I still don’t know if I’m ready to abandon my all white look, but I’m putting this one on my wish list regardless. Who knows, maybe it can be inspiration for a guest bedroom someday!

Wish List: Blue Velvet Sofa

I never thought I’d say this, but I am seriously loving the look of a blue velvet sofa. Recently, I’ve been noticing more and more of these pop up among bloggers and influencers that I follow, and I’m not mad at it one bit.

I especially love the combination of the rich, royal blue with a gold coffee table. So sleek and pretty!7cd537994acd55c81302623f6513687b 8a3ae5988edb8b3a1ac600dea855d45e 8bbb1f90c4bdfdfc757a5b0e0f170252 9e9bc8786874fd5aa8e191bdc9f4b259 44ee9076ac5254ac5f00e86b8462e687 532ea72143c3975be9d4d14a219b8dfa 536db76c0dd6aa4899b3a390ba496459 b915b9cc5e3d9537e4cc87b375e140dc-1 b915b9cc5e3d9537e4cc87b375e140dc ebae6707f4748d72ccdb085275a1538f

Wish List: Butcher Block Countertops

I’m having a major moment with butcher block countertops right now. There’s something about the casual vibe it creates, especially when paired with subway tile, that is super attractive to me. To top it all off (no pun intended, I love that you don’t have to be too precious with it since it actually looks pretty good with a bit of wear & tear.

Wish List: Palm Leaves

Ever since I got back from Tulum, I’ve noticed a trend of placing large palm leaves in vases. At first I was a little confused by the fad, but now I’m totally and utterly obsessed. Since I don’t have a vase quite big enough, nor a plethora of palm leaves at my disposal, this trend is currently on my wish list.
