An acrylic console table first caught my eye a while ago and I haven’t been able to shake it ever since. I just love how it can both blend in as well as make a big, bold statement at the same time.
Thankfully, this piece may not stay on my wish list for much longer—we have the perfect place for it right under the windows in our living room. If and when we do make the purchase, I’ll be sure to update you with photos!

Ok, ok, I’m guilty. I would make updates to my apartment on the daily if I could. What can I say? I just love making little changes and updates here and there!
So it should come as no surprise that I have a few areas/items on my wish list at the moment. Here’s a little breakdown:
Ever since I wrote this post about home bar necessities in which I repurposed the bar cart from my kitchen, I’ve been wanting another one for our living room. I think it would help round out the space, as well as make our home better-equipped for entertaining.
When we first moved in, we had absolutely nothing. First on our list? A bed, of course. Since we were in such a rush to buy a bed so that we could sleep in our own place, I didn’t even think about a rug to go underneath it. But now that we’re much more settled, it’s high up on my list.
My boyfriend is in love with the photograph we have above our dining table, but if it were up to me, we’d have floating shelves topped with pretty pottery and the like.
This chair is actually a newer addition, and while I love it, I think we can ultimately find a better home for it in our living room. In its place, I’d love to find a tall side table that would help create a landing place for mail, keys, etc.
P.S: To see more of my wish list, check out these posts.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an affinity for skirted dining room chairs. I love that they can read both elegant and casual at the same time, depending on how you stage the table.
Since we currently have a round dining room table that seats four, these upholstered chairs would look too busy and cramped–hence why they’re on my wish list for our future home.
Pro tip: Opt for ones without a pleated bottom for a clean and sleek look.

As someone who loves nothing more than crisp white bedding (as seen in my bedroom here), I’m actually really liking the look of a vintage quilt. I love the unexpected pop it creates, especially when placed at the foot of the bed.
I still don’t know if I’m ready to abandon my all white look, but I’m putting this one on my wish list regardless. Who knows, maybe it can be inspiration for a guest bedroom someday!
